Sabine Koppelberg, born in 1970, married with a son, started playing games from her early childhood. She studied German studies, political sciences and pedagogy in Cologne and regularly played board and card games on campus. Today she is a member of the “Spielbaustelle” gaming society in Odenthal and hopes she has passed on her gaming genes to her son.
She currently works as a freelance journalist for the broadcaster WDR in Cologne. Since 1998 she has regularly reviewed toys and games for WDR’s children’s radio programme LILIPUZ, she reports live from the Spielwarenmesse toy fair in Nuremberg and Spiel in Essen and reports on the development of the games industry for radio station WDR 5.
